BA Buckles Down to Clear Baggage Backlog
In the wake of an IT failure over the bank holiday weekend that left thousands of flyers inconvenienced and without their checked luggage, British Airways released a statement on Tuesday apologizing for the frustration experienced by passengers and promising to work “around the clock” to reunite passengers with their personal effects.
“Unfortunately it will take some days to get every bag back to every customer,” said the airline in Tuesday’s statement.
