Travelers to Denver Airport have multiple on-site parking and ground transportation options from which to choose. The Denver Airport website includes updated status information for each of the parking lots, displays a map of the doors and walkways to access parking and ground transportation, and provides a listing of ground transportation options by city.
Jeppesen East and West
Denver International Airport is divided into Jeppesen Terminal East (Blue) and West (Red) sides. The East side services primarily Southwest, JetBlue, Delta/Northwest, US Airways, Continental, Frontier and Midwest. The West side services primarily United, American and the airport's international carriers. Parking and ground transportation are accessed from the East and West sides of the terminals.
Airport Long-Term Parking
The airport provides several long-term parking options for a variety of budgets. All prices were effective July 1, 2009.
- The most economical options are two shuttle parking lots which cost $6.00 per 24 hours or $1.00 per hour. Pikes Peak is the closer lot from 75th Avenue. Slightly farther southeast is the Mt. Elbert lot which handles any overflow. Adding 30 minutes to your travel time when parking in the Pikes Peak or Mt. Elbert lots is recommended.
- The two economy lots (West and East) cost $10.00 for every 24 hours or $1.00 per hour. These lots also require taking a shuttle, but it's the first stop from the airport terminal.
- Garage East and Garage West can be reached by foot from the terminal, and cost $18.00 for 24 hours or $2.00 per hour.
- Two valet lots (again, West and East) cost $27.00 per 24 hours, or $11.00 for the first hour and $2.00 for each additional hour. Car services, such as car detailing and oil changes, are available for additional cost.
Airport Short-Term Parking
In addition to the hourly parking available in the long-term lots, Denver Airport also has dedicated short-term parking options. There are two short-term parking lots (West and East) at a cost of $3.00 per hour, and there is a waiting lot (often referred to as a cell phone lot) for up to 45-minute waits. Overnight parking is not available in the short-term lots.
Ground Transportation
Denver Airport is accessible using a variety of ground transportation options, including public and charter bus, limousine, commuter van, taxi, shuttle and rental car. Travelers headed to downtown Denver may wish to use SkyRide, a low-cost public service available from many downtown locations.
To make sure you get to the right place, there is a Ground Transportation Information Counter on Level 5 of the Jeppesen Terminal. The Counter is available from 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. and can also be reached by phone at (303) 342-4059.
