Chicago International Airport Parking and Ground Transportation

Chicago International Airport parking is located in all three terminals, as well as in the international terminal. Each lot offers different options from hourly to daily rates.

Hourly Parking

Hourly Parking is available at the Chicago International Airport on level one of the main parking garage. Hourly parking is often closer to the terminals than long term parking, and is more expensive. If you're parking in lots A, B or C, the hourly rate for a spot is $2 an hour. If you end up leaving your car in an hourly parking space for a full day, it will cost you $30. Parking rates are always changing, so it's important to go to Chicago International Airport's official website before planning your trip.

Long Term Parking

Long Term Parking is available for you in lots E and F. Because lots E and F are further from the major terminals at the Chicago International Airport, the Airport Transit system is offered to you free of charge. If you are interested in current space availability, it is possible to tune into 1630 AM to find out how many spots are available in each of the parking lots.

International Parking

International parking is located right next to the International terminal and is a convenient lot for picking up or dropping off people at the international terminal. If you happen to be traveling internationally for an extended period of time, long term parking is a cheaper option than the international parking lot. The International parking lot was designed specifically for pick ups and drop offs at the international terminal.

Valet Parking

Valet Parking is the most expensive parking option at the Chicago International Airport. It's filled with perks and luxuries that are not offered to you in regular parking lots. The Valet Parking service offers two unique drop off locations, both found on level one. These locations offer you access to terminals 1, 2 and 3. If you decide to park your car with a valet, the car will be parked in a covered lot until you return from your trip. In addition, the car will be monitored 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Disabled Parking Options

If you are a disabled traveler, lots A, B, C, D and E each have spots that are clearly marked for handicapped travelers. Each one of the parking spaces is located next to an elevator or a shuttle drop off point. Shuttles also offer travelers with wheelchairs an elevator option, which makes it convenient and easy to board the shuttle and tram.

Vehicles Parked More than 30 Days

If you are planning on traveling for more than a month, it's mandatory that you contact the airport to make specific arrangements for your car. If you fail to make arrangements with the airport, your car will be considered abandoned and towed from the lot. To avoid this, call the Chicago International Airport line at (773) 686-7530. In addition to being towed, it's possible that your car can get booted in one of the Chicago International Airport parking lots.
