Airline Cautions Against Playing Pokemon Go at the Airport

A spokesperson for Alaska Airlines added its voice to the national conversation about Pokemon Go last week, warning players that playing the popular game at an airport could not friction with fellow travelers, but lead to a confrontation with airport security.  Pokemon Go players have been seen wandering a municipal airport near downtown Anchorage, a military base outside of Honolulu and subway tracks in Toronto and New York City. “You don’t want to accidentally chase a Pikachu the wrong way through a security exit and have security chasing you down instead,” said Abbey Elliott, social media program manager for the Port of Seattle.
