Airline Allegedly Has Business Class Mother Arrested for Giving Economy Child Blanket

According to Copa Airlines passenger Sara Celeste Farfan Garcia, who was flying in business class at the time of the incident, Copa Airlines had her removed from her flight after handing a blanket only available to business class passengers to her child, who was sitting in economy.

Video footage posted by Garcia to Facebook shows a portion of the altercation with a flight attendant.

Title is wrong. She wasnt arrested for giving the blanket. She was being disruptive. It's a first class amenity, it should stay in first class. No blankets in coach class? Plan accordingly.

@Jon_R: Do you also assume the fork, spoon and knife are also yours to do whatever you want with? How about the cutlery or glassware? Perhaps even the life vest?

I do this all the time on Delta. I am almost always warm on a flight so I have no need for the blanket that is sitting on my seat when I arrive. If I see someone coming through with a small child I offer the blanket to them. I assume the blanket is mine to do whatever I want with it and getting it out of my space is what I want to do with it.
