700 New York Airport Workers Declare 3-Day Strike

In the midst of the “summer of hell” for New York commuters, hundreds of employees working for the city’s three largest airports, including baggage handlers, skycaps and shuttle drivers, are set to strike due to a trade dispute. 700 total workers left their posts on Tuesday, and strike organizers claim that the strike will last through Wednesday and Thursday.
