7 Suspects Arrested for Airport Diamond Heist

Five men and two women have been taken into custody in connection to a £58 million diamond heist that took place in February of 2005 at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS). The group allegedly seized an armored truck at the airport and held the driver at gunpoint while making their getaway. There were no injuries reported as a result of the 2005 hijacking.
