Aircraft Overshoots Nepal Runway, Sustains Damage

A Yeti Airlines flight from Kathmandu to Bhairawa overshot the runway of Gautam Buddha International Airport (BWA) and came to a stop 350 feet away from the end of the asphalt Monday evening. Only minor injuries were reported among several passengers onboard, although the aircraft, a Jetstream 41, was heavily affected by the incident, including damage to the undercarriage and the propeller blades.
