Seattle/Tacoma's SeaTac Airport is the 17th busiest airport in the U.S. having served more than 32 million passengers in 2008. Alaska Airlines, Horizon Air, Northwest Airlines, Southwest Airlines and United receive the highest passenger counts. Located off International Boulevard, the I-5 is nearby.SeaTac Airport's main terminal building is L-shaped with two concourses branching off from each end. Concourses A and B surround the South Satellite. Concourses C and D surround the North Satellite. Each terminal offers a variety of shops and restaurants, including some that are open 24/7.
In 2008, Airport Revenue News awarded SeaTac Airport with the Best Overall Concessions Program Award. SeaTac has more than 35 restaurants and stores available. The airport also offers a number of services for business and recreational travelers. Baggage storage, free Wi-Fi, currency exchange, ATMs, beauty services and shoeshine services are available.
SeaTac is 30 minutes south of downtown Seattle. For those traveling to or from the city, Metro Transit ($1.50 to $2.00), Sound Transit ($1.50 to $3), shuttle van service ($10.25 and up) or taxi ($33 and up) are options.
